Lynx Solar systems are ideal in situations where there is no hot water storage and they are so economically priced that they can be integrated with your existing calentador or electric hot water heater as back up. This could save you around 80% of your gas or electric bill. It is easy to connect the Lynx Solar system into the existing services of your property.
Please note these products can also be gravity fed if there is no mains pressure.

Lynx Solar pressurised hot water systems come with:
- Stainless steel tank, well insulated to prevent freezing and maintain heat
- Electrical back-up (immersion heater)
- Top quality three-coated evacuated tubes with aluminium fins and easily plugged-in heat pipes
(note there is no water in the tubes, this means that if one is broken it does not affect the system from working. The tubes can therefore be easily changed in the event of a breakage or accident) - Stainless steel frame with feet for stability and long life
- A controller for reading temperatures
- Automatic air-vent for pressure release
- Anode in the tank to help with the prevention of lime scale
- Pressure reducing valve to maintain equal pressure in the hot and cold sides of the system
- Pressure release valve for safety
- Pressure gauge for adjustment
- Three valves for servicing or isolating the system
Extras required for system, any of these can be supplied by Lynx Solar:
- Mixer valve: as the water can be heated to over 90ºC this valve brings water to the tap at around 50ºC, thus preventing scolding and also saves energy, giving you more hot water than the actual capacity of your tank
- Expansion vessel to take expansion of the water when the system is up to temperature or is not in use

Note: These systems come with an anode in the tank which will need replacing on a yearly basis or sooner if there are high levels of lime scale in hard water areas.
The guarantee of the pressurised tank is subject to there being filtration or a Hydroflow filter installed in hard water and high lime scale areas.
Lynx Solar recommends that you take out a maintenance contract for a complete yearly service of the product.
